How much does it cost?

Can I use this offline?

Yes. RowLab runs locally in your browser — internet is only needed to load the app and, if you choose, to sign in or sync.

Where is my data stored?

Projects and settings are stored in your browser (IndexedDB) by default. They persist until you clear site data or use Private/Incognito — use 'Export projects' to back them up. Pro's optional Cloud Sync stores pipeline definitions (column names and settings, never your data rows) in your account, and files go to your own Google Drive if you connect it.

Do you upload my CSV files?

No. Parsing and transforms run entirely on your device. We never send your CSV content to our servers.

What if my file is huge?

The app runs in your browser, so very large files may require chunking or streaming. We recommend streaming mode for 50–200 MB; above that, split the file or join our Desktop app waitlist for future native large-file support.

How does RowLab work?

RowLab runs entirely in your browser. You upload your file, build a visual pipeline of transformation nodes, and export the cleaned data. Your data never leaves your machine — all processing happens client-side using JavaScript.

Absolutely. RowLab is 100% client-side, which means your data never gets uploaded to our servers. All file processing, transformation, and export happens locally in your browser. Your sensitive data stays on your machine.

What file formats are supported?

RowLab can import CSV, TSV, and Excel (XLSX) files. For export, depending on your plan, you can output to CSV, JSON, JSONL, XLSX, and XML formats.

Can I save my pipelines?

Yes! You can save your transformation pipelines as profiles and reuse them on new files. This is perfect for recurring vendor data that always needs the same cleaning steps. Free users can save up to 3 pipelines, while paid plans offer unlimited storage.

What's the difference between plans?

Free covers core data cleaning: 3 saved pipelines, up to 10,000 rows per file, and CSV + JSON export. Pro unlocks everything — unlimited pipelines, up to 1 million rows, all export formats, advanced nodes like join and compare files, plus cloud sync through your own Google Drive.

Why 'deterministic'? What does that mean?

Deterministic means the same input always produces the same output. Unlike AI-powered tools that might give different results each time, RowLab uses explicit transformation rules that you define. This makes it perfect for repeatable data processing workflows where consistency is critical.

Can I undo changes?

RowLab never modifies your original file. The transformations are applied on-the-fly as you build your pipeline, and you can preview results at any step. If you don't like a transformation, simply remove that node from your pipeline.
